Bird’s Eye View
Establishing the landscape in which our adventurer will travel amid their world gives us a glimpse of their long journey ahead towards warmth. Where Greater Journeys Begin follows a young character venturing out on a quest of promised treasure. Seeking refuge, a safe place, the map and narrator guide us through emotional discoveries symbolized by an arduous physical trek.
Character Design
When creating this character, to further the emotional narrative and tie of the reader to the story, the ability to project oneself into the story took priority. Their is never mentioned and they display gender neutral features. The bowl cut was a must from the get-go. However, the silhouette and fashion of our character varied. Finally deciding on an against the grain inclusion of a skirt, socks and sandals, and short hair.
